Home visits are available for those patients who are too ill, immobile or housebound and thus unable to attend surgery . Whenever possible please telephone the surgery on 01902 444550 before 10.00am.
Please give sufficient details of the problem in order that doctors can give priority to the most urgent cases. Our reception team will request details to pass on to the doctor.
Please refrain from requesting a home visit unless absolutely necessary. This is to reduce the impact on other patients.
Our GPs are allocated time slots throughout the week for telephone appointments. Please speak with reception if you require an appointment with a specific doctor.
Patients on long-term medication may obtain repeat prescriptions without seeing the doctor. These prescriptions are held on computer, which helps us supply the prescription rapidly and keep accurate records.
Repeat prescriptions can be obtained by bringing the request slip (which is attached to your previous prescription) into the surgery or posting it. We are happy to post your prescription back to you if you enclose a stamped addressed envelope. Alternatively you can make your request online – Please see our ‘Online Services’ Section.
Please allow 48 hours between ordering and collection (not including weekends). Please ensure that request slips are clearly marked where indicated.
Your medication will be reviewed at regular intervals.
