Whatever the day or time, if you or someone else experiences severe chest pain, loss of blood or suspected broken bones, go to your nearest accident and emergency department or call 999.

Out of Hours Service

If you need to see a doctor urgently between 6.30 pm and 8.00 am Monday to Friday or at anytime over a weekend or a Bank Holiday when the surgery is closed please telephone 111. Calls to the NHS 111 service are free from both land lines and mobiles.

If you have a life threatening medical emergency please dial 999.


Unity Hub – Extended Access Service

We are now a member of the Unity Hub which enables us to offer extended access to appointments for our patients outside of our surgery hours.

Unity Hub operates from the following two locations

Pennfields Medical Centre, Upper Zoar Street, Wolverhampton WV3 0JH

Ashmore Park Medical Centre, Griffiths Drive, Wolverhampton WV11 2LH

Unity Hub provides appointments for our patients

  • 6.30pm – 8.00pm weekdays
  • 8.00am – 2.00pm Saturdays & Sundays
  • Bank holidays 9.00am – 12 noon

Appointments for these sessions can be booked either in advance through the surgery or on the day by calling

The Phoenix Centre is open between 10am to 7pm Monday to Friday and 10am to 4pm on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays.

The Walk In Centre, based at Parkfield Road, Wolverhampton, is usually managed by a nurse, it is designed to offer convenient access to a range of treatments for minor illnesses, aliments and injuries,  offers on-the-spot treatment (without an appointment) . You are able to ‘walk in’ during the centre’s opening hours, there is no need to notify the centre you will be attending
